Hello

Hi! I’m Kurt and I’m a documentary wedding photographer in Rotorua, but I shoot weddings all over NZ and the world. I live in a cosy house with my wife, daughter, dog and cat.

My favourite things in the world are photography and getting into the outdoors, and when I’m not shooting you’ll find me on the trails in Rotorua. I couldn’t live without coffee, my laptop and good food. I spend a lot of time with my wife and daughter and nothing makes me happier than surfing the waves at the local beach.

My love of people is what got me into wedding photography. I’ve been a photographer for 8 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else. The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that I get to meet loads of new people.

My couples just want to have a good time, and the last thing they want is a photographer who bosses them about and makes them pose all day.

My wedding photography style is relaxed and vibrant. I capture all the wonderful and silly moments, and let you get on with having a brilliant time. For me the best part about a wedding day is the dancing, because everyone’s a bit tipsy and has forgotten about me and my camera.

Your wedding is all about having a great time. You don’t care about ugly chair covers or having all the “things” – you just want to throw a great party with your favourite people.
